Get THE Look: Joanna's Linen Closet

It’s no secret how much I love my linens from Boll and Branch. They are soft and cozy with a high-quality feel, but also look beautiful when stored and displayed on a shelf. When form meets function, what more can you ask for?

Recently, I decided to update our guest linen closet and stock it with extra sets of towels, bedsheets, and of course, a fluffy robe....all from Boll and Branch. My guests are huge fans!

To recreate this look, here are some of the techniques I used to display the products and make the best use out of the space:

Spa Bath Towel Sets:

I prefer to store my towels as full sets by color, rather than by size. That way, it’s easier for guests to differentiate which set belongs to them. When folding, start with the largest towel and stack up from there. If you need to separate your sets, use clear shelf dividers.

Signature Hemmed Sheet Set:

If you haven’t quite mastered the sheet folding technique, don’t be ashamed! Instead of displaying the sets on the shelf, store in a woven basket instead. Just make sure to add a label! You can also use the cute bag that Boll and Branch sends with every order to keep your sheets stored within their set.

*Btw...it’s worth mentioning that these sheets are 100% cotton, fair trade, and toxin-free...which is something to feel good about!

Women’s Waffle Robe:

My guests are OBSESSED with this robe. They also make great holiday gifts!

Since I didn’t have hooks in the closet, I chose to fold the robes using a traditional file folding method. If you need help...follow these steps:

1. Lay your robe on a flat surface, with the front facing upwards

2. Fold one sleeve flat across the chest area of your robe, horizontally. Fold the next one with the same technique, so that it overlaps the first arm.

3. Begin rolling the robe toward you, starting with the tucked hood or the collar. Roll your robe until you reach the end.

4. Once your robe is rolled, wrap the belt around it and tie it in place. This will keep your robe from unfolding during storage.

Bonfire Blanket:

To create a light and airy feel, I used the clothing rod as hanging storage for this beautiful throw blanket. It was so simple...but added such a nice touch to the space!
