[ THE PROJECTS ] BEFORE AND AFTER // VOLUME 4
One of our favorite things to do after we finish a project is to go back and look at the original photo. There is nothing more satisfying after hours of work than seeing the transformation. So this week, we wanted to share a round-up of some of the pantries, playrooms, and closets we’ve been working on!

For this closet, we needed to figure out how to utilize the open shelves in a way that wouldn’t look messy. By adding these bins, we were able to neatly fold all the pajamas, t-shirts, and bathing suits so that they would stay contained and organized. We also added shoeboxes and velvet hangers for a consistent and uniform look.

This pantry is a great example of pretty simple organization: Large groupings, large bins, and few canisters. But simple systems can still look great and we love how this one turned out. We utilized a LOT of turntables since they had so many spices, oils, and condiments, and primarily used large Elfa bins for all the food categories.

This gorgeous playroom belongs to our good friend Selma Blair and her son Arthur. Our primary goal was to utilize the open shelving with functional storage solutions, while styling them to fit the aesthetic of the room. Our favorite white Nordic bins with bamboo lids were the perfect addition to the space and helped store blocks and legos. We also used the small open stacking containers for art supplies and small games.

The challenge in this pantry was that the shelves were both deep and high. Finding the right supplies to fit the space was tough (and we actually ended-up switching out some of the pieces the next day!), but hyacinth baskets and double bamboo turntables ended up fitting the space perfectly. We also added clear open stacking bins which allow for easy access, and compliment the wooden and woven pieces.
XO, THE
So glad I’m not the only one loving the Nordic bins. Made in Sweden!!
Did you cut off the handles on the white baskets in the closet? Also, what kind of label tags did you use? Looks awesome!!
Nevermind!!! I see you have them sideways! Ha-what about the tags though? 🙂
Where did you find the silver 3-tier stacking racks that hold the water and wine bottles in the pantry photo?
